Being part of both will not affect you here. But at same time, with option that requires project maintainer to sign-off, you should not need to be part of Reviewers:

If you are part of project maintainers, then "merge OK" will work. This change means that Reviewers: listed users should not be able to "merge ok", only project maintainers.
