Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set MergeMode = ff-only.
  2. Create a PackageGit PR that adds a new file.
  3. Commit the same file with different content to the base branch to create a content conflict.
  4. Approve reviews and trigger a sync by pushing another change.

Expected Results

  1. The bot detects it is not FF-mergeable.
  2. The PR is NOT merged.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
