Okay, it took me a week to confirm my thinking that it should only be relevant to the reproducability of build and for individual builds that may as well be locally optmized, with no reason to suspect crash has any build order overlaps. It's out-of-date from the base branch as submitted but the previous merge (new version) and this should not interact. It's early days for me in this model so I'll attempt to rebase and merge.
