This always resolves "localhost" to a loopback address which has security benefits such as preventing a malicious dns server redirecting local connections and allows software to assume it is a secure hostname. Patrick Griffis	35e41862c2	gnetworkaddress: Implement parallel ipv4 and ipv6 dns lookups ... As RFC 8305 recommends we can start multiple DNS queries in parallel to more quickly make an initial response, especially when one is particularly slow/broken.	2018-12-11 16:09:29 -05:00
