8f68c1e646 Rename G_MARKUP_PARSE_FLAGS_NONE
The prefix for GMarkupParseFlags enumeration members is G_MARKUP; this
means that G_MARKUP_PARSE_FLAGS_NONE gets split into
GLib.MarkupParseFlags.PARSE_FLAGS_NONE by the introspection scanner.

The `/*< nick=none >*/` trigraph attribute is a glib-mkenum thing, and
does not affect the introspection scanner; it would also only affect the
GEnumValue nickname, which is not used by language bindings to resolve
the name of the enumeration member. Plus, GMarkupParseFlags does not
have a corresponding GType anyway.

44c004c84e Normalize C source files to end with exactly one newline
Some editors automatically remove trailing blank lines, or
automatically add a trailing newline to avoid having a trailing
non-blank line that is not terminated by a newline. To avoid unrelated
whitespace changes when users of such editors contribute to GLib,
let's pre-emptively normalize all files.

Unlike more intrusive whitespace normalization like removing trailing
whitespace from each line, this seems unlikely to cause significant
issues with cherry-picking changes to stable branches.

Implemented by:

    find . -name '*.[ch]' -print0 | \
    xargs -0 perl -0777 -p -i -e 's/\n+\z//g; s/\z/\n/g'

1a7f07f6bf tests: Rework markup parsing test to not stop on first failure
Previously, the markup parsing test would load a given markup file and
try to parse it several ways. It would return as soon as one of the
attempts failed — meaning that bugs only seen with non-nul-terminated,
or differently chunked, parse runs could never be caught.

Rework the tests so that all markup files are tested all ways, and we
assert that all ways of parsing them give the same result.

f502141f98 tests: Run GMarkup tests with and without nul-termination
When using GMarkup to parse a string, the string can be provided with an
explicit length specified, or with no length and a nul terminator
instead. Run all the GMarkup tests both ways, to catch problems with
length checks, or with nul terminator checks.

ba874a8580 tests: Add an assertion to guard against unexpected flags
This should not change the behaviour of the test, unless the test's
behaviour is changed in future. As spotted by cppcheck, which has
impeccable taste and a flair for the unexpected.

b93a13bb79 Add a way to test different markup parser flags
For now, we are mainly interested in G_MARKUP_TREAT_CDATA_AS_TEXT.
This commit makes markup-parse look for expected output files with
the extension .cdata-as-text in addition to .expected, and compares
the output of parsing with G_MARKUP_TREAT_CDATA_AS_TEXT against
them. markup-parse --cdata-as-text foo.gmarkup can be used to produce
such expected output.

ac8b7ba925 tests: properly set locale to C
We're testing for particular error messages, so we need to set to a C
locale to make sure we get the untranslated version.

Previously, this test set the LANG environment variable, but that's not
good enough if LANGUAGE is also set. The only way to ensure that
LANGUAGE is ignored is to disable l10n with LC_ALL=C.

8df1bb3486 Rename G_TEST_DISTED to G_TEST_DIST
Since this feature is so utterly automake-centric, we may as well be
using the same terminology as automake itself (ie: although it's
BUILT_SOURCES, it's DIST_EXTRA, not DISTED).

Also add some comments to the enum explaining that these terms are
really corresponding directly to the automake terms.

ad7959c5b7 Add --enable-installed-tests configure option
See https://live.gnome.org/GnomeGoals/InstalledTests for more
information.

The tests now support being run both uninstalled and installed, so
'make check' works for those who want it. For tests which need data
files, the way this works is they look in the compiled in value of
SRCDIR by default, and the generated tests use "env G_TEST_DATA=" to
override that.

This patch only converts glib/tests for now; if this patch looks good,
I'll do the rest of the tests.

50aed1cc8f Make the markup-parse test independent of the locale
I added a setlocale call, because we need it for Unicode to
come out right; but I forgot to fix the locale, so we now
fail when comparing error messages to the expected (English)
result. Correct this by setting LANG explicitly to en_US.utf-8.
