Important change on mkinitrd:

Browse Source 
mkinitrd is now in its own subpackage "dracut-mkinit-deprecated",
    which requires dracut. If you need mkinitrd, require "mkinitrd".
    However note that in the long run, mkinit will go away. It is
    preferred to call dracut directly.
