I patched libappindicator following Linux Mint commits to support the new XAppStatusIcon that can be used in Cinnamon, Mate and Xfce via applets. This is a first attempt and although it works there might be rough edges so please help me test it and let me know if it's ok
- Added xappstatusicon.patch. It adds support for XAppStatus Icon by
Linux Mint.
