Due to internal API changes in pylint, older versions of pylint
are no longer supported. If you need to use an older version of
pylint, you will have to pin `pylint-ignore==2021.1021`.

pylint-ignore is a useful wrapper around pylint that makes it easy to introduce pylint to existing codebases. I think it would be great to have it available next to python-pylint (which it depends on).
Difference to 902794/902796 (superseded): removed commented out parts
