I am asking for help in https://code.opensuse.org/leap/features/issue/275 . maybe someone here has a better idea:

I put in a BuildRequires: rust >= 1.90.0 in https://build.opensuse.org/projects/home:okurz:ty/packages/python-ty/files/python-ty.spec?expand=1 and 16.0+rust, i.e. with the rust development project, builds so it's only about the rust compiler but the vanilla 16.0 repo in https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:okurz:ty/python-ty shows "unresolvable: nothing provides rust >= 1.90.0, (got version 1.88.0-160000.2.2)"
