- Updated to revision 253, fixes the following problems
* Crash for "vim -u NONE -N -c '&&'".
* Configure message for detecting smack are out of sequence.
* When passing input to system() there is no way to keep NUL and
NL characters separate.
* Cannot distinguish between NL and NUL in output of system().
* Some test files missing from distribution.
* Crash when BufAdd autocommand wipes out the buffer.
* Critical error in GTK, removing timer twice.
* Crash when using cpp syntax file with pattern using external

- Updated to revision 244, fixes the following problems
* ":tjump" shows "\n" as "\\n".
* The string returned by submatch() does not distinguish between a
NL from a line break and a NL that stands for a NUL character.
* getreg() does not distinguish between a NL used for a line break
and a NL used for a NUL character.
* Cannot use setreg() to add text that includes a NUL.
* The smack feature causes stray error messages.
- Updated to revision 239, fixes the following problems
* Compilation problems on HP_nonStop (Tandem).
* Inconsistency: ":sp foo" does not reload "foo", unless "foo" is
the current buffer. (Liang Li)
* Compiler warnings. (Tony Mechelynck)
* When src/auto/configure was updated, "make clean" would run
configure pointlessly.
* It's not easy to remove duplicates from a list.
* When 'relativenumber' or 'cursorline' are set the window is

To select the style of XIM Input the following command line arguments,
which are handled by GTK internally, are available:
--xim-preedit [none|nothing|area|position|callbacks]
--xim-status [none|nothing|area|callbacks]
To use OnTheSpot input style, start gvim like
~$ gvim [--xim-preedit callbacks] [--xim-status callbacks]
This is also the default, which you will get without any command line arguments.
To use OverTheSpot input style, start gvim like
~$ gvim --xim-preedit position [--xim-status callbacks]
OnTheSpot input is still buggy and does not yet work right for Japanese,
therefore it is recommended to use OverTheSpot input style for Japanese.
(For Korean, OnTheSpot input style works well).
