Delete Branch "frispete/xfsprogs:factory"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
looks ok in general, but could you write a few words on the exact problem you are encountering with an older rpm build is (and which rpm version would that be).
The setup/patch macros predate autosetup, so the change description makes no sense to me without further details.
Hi Anthony,
yes, of course, I'm packaging some stuff here, eg. for 15.4: https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/home:frispete:15.4, and the
%patch0 -p1
, that you changed two months ago to%patch 0 -p1
(note the additional space) in order to get rid of some rpm deprecation warning, fails completely with rpmbuild of that distribution. Thanks now it's clear, yes I can reproduce the issue in 15.4. Seems like this is an rpmbuild bug and it works with "%patch -P 0".
But in any case, I don't see the harm in switching to auto, I think I had already done this for 15.6.
So, go ahead with the proposed change.
