- version update to 3.0.0
  - Dropped support for Python 2.7 and 3.5.
  - Added support for Python 3.9.
  - Clean up dependencies and requirements.
  - Switch from Travis to GitHub Actions for building and testing.
  - Prevent PytestCollectionWarning for TestApp
