- update to 0.6.0: * [feature] Added new kw argument to EnvironmentContext.configure() include_object. * [feature] The output of the alembic history command is now expanded. * [feature] Added alembic.config.Config.cmd_opts attribute, allows access to the argparse options passed to the alembic runner.(link) * [feature] Added new command line argument -x, allows extra arguments to be appended to the command line which can be consumed within an env.py script by looking at context.config.cmd_opts.x, or more simply a new method EnvironmentContext.get_x_argument().(link) * [feature] Added -r argument to alembic history command, allows specification of [start]:[end] to view a slice of history. * [feature] Source base is now in-place for Python 2.6 through 3.3, without the need for 2to3. * [feature] Added new kw argument to EnvironmentContext.configure() include_object. Alembic is a new database migrations tool, written by the author

of SQLAlchemy <http://www.sqlalchemy.org>. A migrations tool

offers the following functionality:

* Can emit ALTER statements to a database in order to change

the structure of tables and other constructs
|
|
* Provides a system whereby "migration scripts" may be constructed;

each script indicates a particular series of steps that can "upgrade" a

target database to a new version, and optionally a series of steps that can

"downgrade" similarly, doing the same steps in reverse.

* Allows the scripts to execute in some sequential manner.
