Please add new package dateutils. It's very useful and there is nothing else comparable. Archlinux and Gentoo have it already on board, Debian is about to add it. dateutils is actively developed since 2 years. Their target market is shell scripts that need date calculations or calendar conversions, and as such they are highly pipe-able and modeled after their well-known cousins (e.g. dtest vs. test, or dgrep vs. grep).
