top 1000 PyPI package; dep of basictracer & ddtrace which is top also 1000. eight other addons/wrappers are in the top 4000.
https://hugovk.github.io/top-pypi-packages/ - click "Show 4,000" and search for opentracing, instana, lightstep and jaeger.  Very likely more directly dependent I am not aware of, and certainly many indirectly dependent that I am unaware of.  faust is one I am aware of, top 4000, with 5000+ github stars.
