Fix documentation typos
Character entities are not supposed to be supported by gtk-doc¹ and fix the spelling of ‘optional’ ¹https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=758137 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=758174
