Accepting request 1208158 from GNOME:Factory

- Drop rcFOO symlinks (PED-266)
- Drop usage of update-alternatives, but simplify installation of
  /usr/libexec/gst-install-plugins-helper as a direct symlink to
  pk-gstreamer-install. (forwarded request 1208110 from dimstar)
